Hi there— I’m Monica, a multimedia artist from Poland, based in Helsinki. In September 2024 I started studies at Aalto University in Design Programme.

Previously, I completed a bachelor's degree in Photography and Fine Arts from the Art Academy in Szczecin.

Through my art, I wish to make people smile and enchant them into a world where the ordinary becomes extraordinary.

I aim to create art that brings joy and provokes curiosity. In the illustration, I mix a variety of mediums like colour pencils, gouache, gel prints, and acrylic markers.

Mixing media allows me to explore different textures and techniques, bringing a unique quality to my art.

In addition to illustrating, I create small, detailed sculptures from polymer clay and resin. These tiny characters are designed to be inspiring companions and encourage creativity in everyday life.

A huge part of my artistic and professional development stands for photography. Working in portrait and fashion photography brought to my life a lot of amazing projects and incredible people.

Architecture and nature are significant sources of inspiration for me, together with cinematography and fine art.

My work has been exhibited at the National Museum in Szczecin, celebrating 100 Years of the Avant-garde in Poland.

I am a member of The Finnish Illustrator Association Kuvittajat.
